Dear Neighbour,

Re. Validation of the 190-194 Goldhawk Road application (ref: 2023/02581/FUL') to redevelop the site.

I am writing on behalf of Fit Out UK and the 190-194 Goldhawk Road Project Team regarding their proposals to redevelop 190-194 Goldhawk Road. Following constructive engagement with the Council and the local community last year, an application for the redevelopment of the site has now been submitted.

You can find the application and its supporting documents by clicking here or searching for the application reference number ‘2023/02581/FUL' on the Council’s planning portal.

We have also included a link to access and download some key documents related to the application on the consultation website - www.190-194goldhawkroad.co.uk

As a reminder, our submitted proposals will see:

• The rejuvenation of the existing site – an approach that brings a more suitable use to a site within a predominantly residential area with commercial activity and transport links.

• The creation of 36 new homes, including at least 35% of affordable housing.

• An improvement to the streetscape and character of the area by introducing a high-quality landscaped frontage to the site.

• Centralised site access, facilitating efficient servicing on site & improvement of public realm.

• A high-quality design, sensitively designed to be respectful of local character and of neighbours’ privacy and amenity.

If you have any further questions at this stage, please do not hesitate to contact us

by emailing 190-194goldhawkroad@kandaconsulting.co.uk or calling us on 020 3900 3676.

Yours Faithfully,

Fit Out UK and the 190-194 Goldhawk Road Project Team

Good day,

My name's Max and here at the Transport for London (TfL) consultation team we want to keep you up to date on how we’re proposing to improve the transport network across the Capital.

You’ve already shown us you’re passionate about transport services in London by taking part in one of our consultations, and by signing up for this newsletter. We’d love to see you, and the rest of our 40,000-strong Have Your Say community take part in more consultations that interest you. That’s why every month I’ll be sending you a roundup of:

•    New consultations on our transport services, and

•    The consultations that we’ve completed and have now reported on

Here are some projects you can currently comment on by clicking on the image:

We would like to hear your views about our proposal to extend the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). Our preferred option is a cross-river extension of the DLR from Gallions Reach, with two new stations in Beckton Riverside and Thamesmead
We are proposing to improve walking, cycling and road safety between Woolwich and Plumstead
We are proposing to improve walking, cycling and road safety between Shepherd’s Bush Green and Holland Park Roundabout

We would like to hear your views on proposals to change bus route 188 in North Greenwich

We would like to hear your views on proposals to improve safety, accessibility and reliability on bus route 273 in Lewisham

We would also like to hear your views about the proposed creation of a new night bus route N518 to run between Trafalgar Square and Ruislip Station via Wembley, Sudbury Hill and Rayners Lane.

Several consultations have closed recently and we're working on reports to summarise your feedback and show the next steps. This list of all our projectsincludes consultations on bus routes in Kings CrossWood Green and Uxbridge.

We’re always keen to see our Have Your Say consultation community grow, so feel free to pass this newsletter on to friends, family and neighbours so that they can also share their thoughts, feelings and feedback with us.

Yours

Max

2024-0205 West London Fixers Events

WEST CENTRAL LONDON FIXERS

West Central London Fixers bring together repairers and the community to fix their electronics for free. The idea is to nurture repair culture in the community, rather than throwing away electronics. They are backed by various London councils including H&F.

They are looking to:
  • Recruit new fixers
  • Train people to fix electronics

They will be having at least three events per month from Feb - July, across three boroughs: Ealing, H&F and RBKC.

The event dates for 2024 are to be confirmed but to secure a time slot to have something fixed members of the public need to book via Eventbrite (Eventbrite), though they also take phone bookings.

Training takes place at the same place and time as repair events and is an integral part of each repair event.

Here is the Eventbrite link for training:

2023-1221 - Feedback To TFL In 2023 ...

The following message has been received from TFL ..

Thank you for your feedback: highlights from 2023

As the year draws to a close, we want to express our thanks for your invaluable feedback on TfL's proposals throughout 2023.

It has been a busy year so far on Have Your Say, with 37 consultations plus numerous discussions on all manner of subjects, including bus routes in Bromley, cycling in Chiswick and walking in Wembley.

There's been over 800,000 visits to our website, haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk, and around 20,000 of you have filled in our consultation surveys. You also contributed over 3,000 questions, forum posts, ideas and more.

Your feedback matters, because with it we’re able to make better decisions on how to progress with:

  • Bus route changes across London, including the introduction of five sections of the new Superloop service

  • New road and cycling schemes to support safer and more active travel across London, including improvements to our cycle route between Oval, Clapham, Balham and Colliers Wood, and road safety improvements in East Sheen

  • Changes to how we regulate London’s taxi and private hire services, and

  • New direct vision standards to improve heavy goods vehicle safety

  •

Throughout 2023 we’ve also been making changes to how we connect with London’s diverse communities when we consult. This includes new British Sign Language (BSL) services, improved Easy Read materials and improvements to our website.

In 2024 you’ll see us launch more consultation improvements, or trials, to help us connect with you so that you can share your feedback. Watch out for more on this in the first part of 2024.

Over the next 12 months we’ll also continue to launch new consultationsthat we’d like your ideas, thoughts, feelings, feedback and questions on. So, make sure to keep a look out for our emails and newsletters throughout 2024.

From everyone in the TfL consultation team we hope you have a restful and peaceful break over the holiday period. See you soon and wishing you all the best for 2024.

Kind regards
